Further to their debut EP, ‘Don’t Cry Help Until You’re Dead’, we now have the two subsequent limited release EPs from Sidearm, ‘Home Recordings Vol. 1′ and ‘Sing Cinema 16! Sing!’, on Lost Children.
Extending upon and enhancing the indie-post-hardcore style of their debut, ‘Home Recordings Vol. 1′ was produced and recorded solely by the band themselves and demonstrates the intelligent nature of Sidearm, combining quirky timing with gang vocals and jumpy instrumentation. ‘Sing Cinema 16! Sing’ continues the progression, ups the melody count and displays the potential of this band prior to their ongoing hiatus.
